L&M is an American cigarette brand launched in 1953 by Liggett & Myers Tobacco Company, the initials of which give the brand its name. Acquired by Philip Morris International, L&M is today one of the world's best-selling economy-to-standard cigarette brands, particularly popular in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Latin America, where it is often perceived as an accessible alternative to premium brands like Marlboro.
