🌍 Overview

Tunisia has a tobacco market entirely controlled by the state monopoly, the Manufacture de Tabacs de Tunisie (MTT), founded in the 1950s. The country has one of the highest male smoking prevalence rates in the MENA region (~55-60% of adult men), versus a very low female prevalence (~3-5%).
