Mixed specific excise + ad valorem + 19% VAT system. Taxation represents approximately 75% of the final price. Tax increases were particularly significant between 2002 and 2005.
📈 Prijsbeleid
Germany implemented several waves of tax increases in the 2000s, causing significant price jumps. Increases have been less aggressive than France since 2015. The government relies more on information and nicotine substitutes than purely fiscal pressure.
